Residential Programs
The services provided to people living with an intellectual disability in the schools and the Valley Rehab (now Gateway Resources) attracted people with similar needs to the Winkler and Morden area. This led to a need for living accommodations, combined with the need to help families, resulted in acquiring and building of three residences and with a fourth facility starting in an apartment complex.
The intent was to have a stable home environment for individuals who needed long and or short-term living arrangements. The Association for Community Living of Winkler and Morden responded to these needs.
Gateway Resources has continued to provide high quality services by building a home for retired individuals in Morden and high needs individuals in Winkler.
At present, there are eight homes in Winkler and three in Morden. Use the menu on the left to read descriptions of each home.
