Mountview

It was built on Mountain Street in Morden. In 1974. This home was build to accommodate 12 individuals, each having a room of their own and sharing a semi-private bathroom with one other tenant. It has a common room upstairs and a recreation room downstairs. Dining room and kitchen designed to accommodate the needs and a suite complete with kitchenette for live in staff. This home was originally licensed for 10 people, 8 of whom are regular residents and 2 respite beds, accessible by the community.

In 1997 it was down sized to 8 residents, plus 2 respite beds. In May 1999, it again has been down sized to 6 residents. It still has the 2 respite beds, to be accessed by the community.
