Residential Programs
7th Street
On August 2, 1996 the sod turning ceremony took place for the new home in Morden for six individuals including a built-in training unit. The home opened in January 1997. It is located close to downtown, and makes most things within walking distance.
This 3000 square foot home accommodates six individuals. It is wheelchair accessible. It also provides for an early retirement for people living with mental disabilities.
Some of these individuals are retired and some are semi retired from Valley Rehab (now Gateway Resources) in Winkler. The retired individuals participate in the day program. The program is a retirement leisure oriented program consisting of crafts, wood-working and community interaction and inclusion in senior centre activities.
