Welcome
Welcome to the Gateway Resources Inc. website. Our organization provides services and programs for 116 intellectually handicapped adults in the Morden-Winkler area of southcentral Manitoba. We have a total of 9 group homes that house 38 participants ranging from more complex needs (autism, wheelchair bound) to senior citizens.
Life Enrichment
We offer a vibrant Life Enrichment Program that provides learning programs and work placements in 12 separate community work sites.
Workshop
Our workshop division engages participants in recycling and specialty packaging and production of crates and pallets.
Transportation
Our Transportation Division that is managed by the Director of Woodshop is comprised of a fleet of 17 vehicles used for industrial, residential, and program purposes.
The Organization
Gateway employs 100 staff that encompasses 25 separate classifications of staff. Our annual operating budget of $4,400,000.00 is funded approx. 65% by Family Services and Housing of Manitoba and the balance comes from revenue generated by our Workshop Division.
